Wader Watch Tours
Between September and April you can join our Argo at the entrance to the Nature Reserve for a two hour trip with the focus on migrant Waders. You, a maximum of four other people and a guide leave as th tide is rising to spend time near the base of the spit observing the birds flying in to roost as the tide chases them across the inter-tidal plain. The Argo is open and the spit can be windy so please plan accordingly. Tours operate from October until the end of March. Check our departure times and prices for possible tour dates.
